The screenshot folder that started it all
It started with a folder of 400+ screenshots. Restaurants from Instagram Reels, cafes from Threads, hidden gems from Shorts — all saved with good intentions, none actually visited.
The gap wasn't discovery — social media is incredible at surfacing amazing places. The gap was going from “that looks amazing” to having it on a map you'll actually check when you're in the neighborhood.
So we built Hold My Pin: share a link, AI extracts the place, and it lands on your personal map. No more lost screenshots. No more forgotten restaurants. No more trips where you realize you were two blocks from that perfect cafe.
